National Festival of Interpretation and Creation of Romance "Golden Chrysanthemum"

Between October 23-24, 2020, the 53rd edition of the National Festival of Interpretation and Creation of Romance "Golden Chrysanthemum", the longest-lived, will take place in Târgovişte, under the patronage of the Romanian National Commission for UNESCO Romanian music festival, which has been held uninterruptedly since 1968 in Târgoviște, with the aim of promoting Romance as a musical genre of national culture heritage.

We specify that the organizers are concerned about the inscription of Romance in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, a procedure that was initiated in 2016 and which is still in the attention of the Ministry of Culture.

The organizers of this edition are: Târgovişte City Hall and Local Municipal Council, Dâmboviţa County Council, Dâmboviţa County Culture Center, "Tony Bulandra" Theater in Târgovişte, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, the Union of Romanian Composers and Musicologists and the Union of Musicians of Moldova.

The event takes place at the "Tony Bulandra" Theater in Târgovişte. The concerts will start every evening at 18.00 and will be broadcast live by ETNO TV, as well as by Radio Romania Antena Satelor (Saturday evening).

Laureates Gala: on Sunday, October 25, 2020, at 20.00, ETNO TV will broadcast a show dedicated to awarding prizes to the winners of the two sections of the competition.
