The museums of the “Princely Court” National Museum Complex in Târgoviște are reopening

 

The museums under the administration of the National Museum Complex "Princely Court" Târgoviște will reopen in stages.

In the first stage, the Monumental Ensemble "Princely Court", Ialomiţa Cave and the Brâncoveanu Ensemble from Potlogi can be visited starting with May 26, 2020.

Later, the Museum of Dâmboviţa Writers, the Museum of Romanian Print and Old Book, the Museum of Human Evolution and Technology in the Paleolithic, the History Museum, the "Vasile Blendea" Museum, the Art Museum, the "Gheorghe Petraşcu" Workshop House, the Museum of Ethnography and Folklore, The Brâncoveanu Ensemble from Potlogi, "Gabriel Popescu" Workshop House from Vulcana Pandele, I.L. Caragiale Memorial House, "Romance House" Museum, Exhibition "Metamorphoses of a place of memory: from the chivalry of the" Ferdinand I " Officers' School to the profane space of the process and the execution of the Ceausescu husnbands and the end of the totalitarian regime in Romania ", the Ethnographic Museum" Prof. Dumitru Ulieru "Pietroşiţa will resume their visitation program starting with June 1, 2020.

Visiting museums must comply with the following rules for the protection of tourists and employees:

- At the entrance to the museum, an observational triage will be carried out and access will not be allowed to people who show symptoms of respiratory infection (cough, sneezing, rhinorrhea);

- Wearing a mask to cover the nose and mouth is mandatory for both visitors and museum staff. A representative of the museum will check the temperature of the visitors. People who refuse these measures will not be allowed to access to the museum;

- Visitors will disinfect their hands with alcohol-based disinfectant that will be made available at the entrance to the museum;

- Visitors may not form groups of more than 3 persons, except for families with two or more children;

- The access of the groups (maximum 3 people) is made at an interval of 5 minutes;

- The access to the museum is made with the observance by the participants of the physical distance of at least 2 m;

- If the number of people in the museum exceeds 50% of its capacity, the court of honor of the museum will serve as a waiting area for visitors;

- The access roads, as well as the direction of traffic inside the museum were differentiated according to the flow separation signals: entrance / exit, and the exhibition space delimited by creating routes that the public is asked to follow. Visitors are also advised to follow staff instructions;

- The visit will be limited to a time interval of no more than one hour;

- 50 people can be in the exhibition space at the same time. The access of new visitors will be allowed gradually and progressively, as the people who visited the exhibitions left the museum;

- In the time interval 13:00 - 14:00 the sanitation of the exhibition space will be carried out;

- Visitors will use carpet with disinfectant for shoes at the entrance to the museum;

- Use the card payment as often as possible;

- During the alert period, the groups of visitors, the guided tours and the organization of cultural events with the participation of the public are restricted, such as: openings, book launches, documentary film screenings, etc.

The visiting program of the museums and tourist objectives under the administration of the National Museum Complex "Princely Court" Târgoviște is the following:

- The "Princely Court" Monumental Ensemble: the visiting hours are from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:30.

- Art Museum, History Museum, Museum of Human Evolution and Technology in the Paleolithic, Museum of Old Romanian Printing and Book, Museum of Dâmboviţa Writers, "Vasile Blendea" Museum, "House of Romance" Museum, House - Atelier Gheorghe Petraşcu, Exhibition " A place of memory ", Gabriel Popescu House – Workshop "from Vulcana - Pandele: the visiting hours are from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00.

- "Ion Luca Caragiale" Memorial House, Pucioasa Ethnography Museum, "Dumitru Ulieru" Ethnographic Museum Pietroşiţa: visiting hours are from Wednesday to Sunday, from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00 .

- Brancoveanu Ensemble from Potlogi: the visiting hours are from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00.

- Ialomita Cave: visiting hours are from Monday to Sunday, from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00.
