Transbucegi is open!
Starting with 05.06.2020, the public traffic was resumed on the entire route DJ 713 DN 71 - Șaua Dichiului - Cabana Piatra Arsă, km 0 + 000 - 16 + 383.
DJ713, Drumul Babelor or Transbucegi is the main access road on the plateau of the Bucegi Mountains, reaching near Babelor and Sfinxului, the famous tourist attractions in this area.
This section of road was closed during the cold season, as the road infrastructure was affected by unfavorable weather phenomena, which led to the demolition of significant amounts of forest vegetation.
